Renovation of a power facility in Hallam, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The work scope to be included in the future contract will be subject to final input, including, but not limited to: available outage durations (typically four (4) week maximum), subsequent extent of work scope proposed during the outage, and budget constraints. The initial expectation is that the contract would include as a minimum required refractory, equipment, rigging, tools, testing, and labor to complete the work scope. The DISTRICT will provide Reheater material, insulation/lagging and scaffold services. The Unit 1 Boiler Reheater is a vertically hung heat transfer surface consisting of inlet and outlet banks. The inlet bank consists of 63 panels spaced on 4*6 inch (4*6") centers. The tube panels are approximately 20 foot (20') long and penetrate through the convection pass roof of the boiler through a refractory seal with connections to the inlet header located in the boiler penthouse. The outlet bank consists of 47 tube panels spaced on 6" centers. The panels are approximately 22' long and penetrate through the convection pass roof of the boiler through a refractory seal with connections to the outlet header located in the boiler penthouse.
