The DISTRICT intends to procure the fabrication, and delivery of one (1) main steam stop valve (MSSV) F.O.B. (freight prepaid) to Sheldon Station (SS) located near Hallam, Nebraska. The MSSV is used to isolate the boiler from the steam turbine and to allow hydrostatic testing of the boiler to check for boiler tube leaks. Final Contract to be issued to successful Bidder on or before: August 15, 2025 1. Scope of Work a. All items shall be compatible with the SS facilities existing piping and location, for the SS Unit 2 boiler. The MSSV shall be a direct replacement for the existing MSSV, SS Unit 2 boiler in accordance with the ATTACHMENT B Drawings included herein. b. The replacement MSSV for the SS Unit 2 boiler shall be manufactured and supplied as specified on the ATTACHMENT B Drawings. c. The MSSV shall be able to interface with the existing piping via a buttwelded joint. The MSSV shall be able to be installed in the location of the existing MSSV that is being replaced. 2. Plant Location SS is located approximately thirty (30) miles southwest of Lincoln, Nebraska.
