Description

Renovation of a residential development in Marquette, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The County of Marquette, acting in its capacity as the CDBG Grant Administrator, is seeking a Michigan Licensed Contractor and Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Program (RRP) certified firm with at least one Lead Abatement Supervisor for the rehabilitation of a single family residential home located at 1404 Waldo St, Marquette, MI 49855 Marquette County reserves the right to reject any proposal submitted if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the project. Marquette County assumes no obligation, no responsibility, and no liability for costs incurred by the responding firms prior to the issuance of a contract. 1. Side Stair Replacement New steps can be installed around and over the existing concrete steps. Install new wooden steps (5). Install new round handrails with an outside diameter of 1.25-2 inches and guards. Remove the existing overhang and install new overhang that is similar to the other entryway. 2. Fire Alarm and Carbon Monoxide Detectors Install wireless smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors on each dwelling floor and in all bedrooms. If already existing, ensure they are functioning.
