A Central UtilityPlant (assuming implementationof a loop system for all utilitieswith direct branches for each separate building) and an outside-ofsecurity-perimeter (outside)warehouse (approx. 80,000 SqFt); Central Maintenance (Pre-Engineered Metal Building); outside administration; inmate recordsmanagement and business services area; outside visitor and staff processing/entry area; outside security armory; a double 12 foothigh perimeter fence (approximately 10,000 linear ft) and two(Pre-Engineered Metal Deck) design perimeter security towers tomanage one vehicle entrancesally port and one pedestrian sallyport. The interior will includeone main kitchen to prepare9,500 meals each day, one centralized health care facility, onecentralized laundry, one centralized inmate receiving and discharge (release), a central control. Each facility within the perimeterwill be semi-autonomous providing dining, gymnasium, healthservices (clinic level) educational, inmate clothing exchange, inmatecommissary, counseling servicesand administrative offices. Project will include dedicatedprogramming areas for cognitivebehavioral therapy, mental health services as well as an infirmarywith pharmacy and nurses' station. Aiming to prepare inmatesfor successful reintegration intosociety, the project will incorporate various rehabilitation andreentry programs, including vocational trades training and maintenance building initiatives. The new prison design will integrate safeand efficient features includingclear sight lines, advancedperimeter security technologiesand smaller, more controlledhousing units. These modern elements not only aim to improve the safety and operational efficiencyof the prison but also enhance the environment for the staff and inmates.
