Description Refugio County is seeking an experienced airport engineering firm with proven qualifications to provide professional airport engineering services for a full range of aviation needs at Rooke Field Airport. Refugio County intends to engage a professional engineering firm for services subject to 49 U.S.C. 47107(a)(17), pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Chapter 262 and, Chapter 2254, Subchapter A, of the Government Code, and 2 CFR 200 in its entirety. The County will receive qualification statements for services including but not necessarily limited to the grant application, project programming, detailed design, bidding and award, construction administration and inspection, and grant closeout and engineering evaluations as necessary. Scope Provide engineering and design services, including construction administration, for future projects listed below that could be funded locally or through TxDOT grant programs in the next five (5) years: Fuel Tanks/Fuel Farm System Construct Hangars Install Wildlife Perimeter Fence Expand Runway Construct Taxiway Improve Pilot Landing Systems/Ground-Based Aviation Aids Installation of New Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) Question Deadline April 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM CDT Award Date 4/22/2025 The Agreement will be for a three (3) year period with options to automatically extend for two (2) additional years in one (1) year increments upon written approval by both parties.
