Demolition and site work for a residential development in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 8,774-square-foot, two-story above grade residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Question Deadline 04/14/2025 at 3:00 PM CT Question Cuttoff Date & Time The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to provide the environmental remediation services (abatement of asbestos and hazardous material), utility disconnects and complete demolition services for Demo of 916 Ellis Lane NW. The work will consist of removing all ACM and HHW as indicated and all debris associated with these structures including the foundations, footings, other materials such as private sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, garages, sheds, fences and miscellaneous materials or debris throughout the parcel leaving the site in a natural state. Please review the Environmental Assessment Report and Asbestos Analysis Results in the Bid Attachments for details All Work shall be in accordance with Statewide Urban Design and Specifications (SUDAS), current version (link below). If there is a discrepancy between SUDAS and the City's bid documents, the bid documents take precedence 2-story, 8774 sq. ft., concrete block, shingle roof, asbestos tiles in office on 1st floor at front of building.
