The Board of Education of the Horseheads Central School District hereby invites the submission of sealed bids for a: Fuel Tank Replacement . The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, and to hold all bids for 60 days subsequent to the date of opening for examination. COMPLETE FUEL STATION UPGRADE - - Notify NYSDEC of tank removal/install - Re-pipe on grade supply from diesel to existing underground flex pipe for unleaded and re-pipe on grade supply from unleaded to diesel underground flex pipe. - Re ID existing unleaded dispenser to diesel and re ID diesel dispenser to unleaded. - Supply and install new filters and hanging hardware (4) 3/4 " x 14ft unleaded complete hose set ups and (2) 1" x 15ft diesel complete hose setup. Will reuse existing hose retractor. - Remove existing 6000 gallon unleaded tank, owner to use up fuel. Price to include 4-6" of fuel remaining. - Provide owner with tank closure letter for NYSDEC. Will assist owner to Update PBS registration. - Supply and install Highland Fireguard 9,900-gallon unleaded tank. - Install new fill box with pipe and fittings. - Install new 1.5" FE Petro submersible, with 2" solenoid valve, 2" ball valve, 2" leak detector T w/leak detector, and 2" pipe to connect to existing underground flex pipe. - Supply and install 2" clock gauge, working vent and emergency vents according to NYSDEC. - Supply and install new sticker package to meet NYSDEC guidelines. - Anchor new tank with 3/4 " wedge anchors. - Work MUST begin after Friday August 15 th , 2025 and MUST be completed before Wednesday September 1 st , 2025.
