Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $885.00 per calendar day on all projects. Bidders are required to review project with Twp Road Master before submitting bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not lest than 10% of the amount of the Base Bid. The bid guarantee may be in the form of a bid bond or certified check. Only bid bonds from companies licensed to be a business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be accepted. The Municipality reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids. All proposals MUST be upon the form furnished by the Township. PROJECT 3: CHIP SEAL EQUIPMENT ITEM 1: 20' Computerized Chip Spreader w/ (2) operators - 10 Hours; ITEM 2: 20' Computerized Asphalt Distributor w/ operator - 10 Hours; ITEM 3: Laborer - 10 Hours; ITEM 4: 9-wheel pneumatic rubber tire roller w/ operator - 10 Hours; ITEM 5: Tri-Axle dump truck with chipping bars for chip seal - 30 Hours; ITEM 6: ATSAA certified Flag Person for chip seal operation - 10 Hours; ITEM 7: Truck Mounted pick-up broom with operator - 12 Hours; ITEM 8: Kick Off Style Sweeper with operator - 8 Hours; Project 3 bid to be awarded on a total of all items to the lowest responsible bidder. The successful bidders, when awarded the contract, shall deliver a Performance Bond or certified check in the amount of 50% of contract within 20 days. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
