Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.

2025 Park Improvements Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows: Item 1. 2025 Park Improvements, including demolition, new combination Tennis/Pickleball and Basketball Court, Renovate Restroom Building, Sidewalks, Playground, as well as Lighting A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Village of Tiskilwa negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. This project is funded in whole or in part with grant funds from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Open Space Land Acquisition and Development Program. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Village of Tiskilwa reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or before a date tobe specified in written Notice to Proceed of the Owner and to fully complete the project no more than 120 consecutive calendar days thereafter as stipulated in the specifications. Bids may be held by the Village of Tiskilwa for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
