Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Tiskilwa, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Village of Tiskilwa, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Village of Tiskilwa reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Village of Tiskilwa for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows: Removal of four small bridges and replacement with a 30' long 16' x 4.5' precast box culvert and bituminous approach pavement on State Street; a 30' long 16' x 6' precast box culvert and bituminous approach pavement on Main Street: a 38' long 10' x 6' precast box culvert and bituminous approach pavement on 1 Street (referred to on the plans as High Street) and; a 49' long x 32' wide bridge with 48' wide precast concrete deck beams supported on cast in place pile caps on 12" steel shell piles.
