The 2025 Annual Detention & Retention Basin Rehabilitation consists of the rehabilitation of four (4) city-owned storm water basins referred as the Anderson Meadows Basin, Bo Jackson Basin, Heather Ridge Basin and Wetlands, and Greyson Apartments Basin. Base Bid includes the following basins. Anderson Meadows Basin: Items 1 - 26 Bo Jackson Basin: Items 27 - 46 Heather Ridge Basin and Wetlands: Items 47 - 66 Alternate Bid includes the Greyson Basin Alternate Bid: Items 67 - 80 The Engineer's Estimate for the Base Bid is $610,082.00. The estimate does not include the alternate bids. No bid will be accepted if it exceeds the City Engineer's estimate on the base bid by more than ten percent (10%). The Engineer's Estimate for the Alternate Bid is $72,738.00. An award of the Project will be based solely on the base bid, without consideration of the Alternate, which the city may or may not award. The Final Completion Date is October 31, 2025. This project is being funded through local funds. State prevailing wage applies to this project. There is no DBE goal. Addenda will be issued if necessary. Final addendum will be issued no later than Monday, April 21, 2025. 8.1 Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in either the form of: (a) a Contract Performance Bond payable to the City of Hilliard for the full amount of the Bid (the form included in the attachment list shall be used); or (b) a Certified Check for 10 percent of the Bid; or (c) A Cashier's Check for 10 percent of the Bid; or (d) An Irrevocable Letter of Credit for 10 percent of the Bid. 8.2 If a Contract Performance Bond is completed is provided it must be executed by a corporate Surety approved by the City of Hilliard and licensed in the State of Ohio. The Contract Performance Bond form included herein should be used. 8.3 A Bid shall be deemed nonresponsive and shall be rejected if the bidder submits a Contract Performance Bond, executed by a surety not licensed. 8.4 As soon as the Bids have been compared, the City of Hilliard will return the certified check, cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit of all except the three lowest and best Bidders. When the Contract is executed, or the period for holding the Bids has expired, the Bid Guaranties of the two remaining unsuccessful Bidders will be returned within ten (10) days. 8.5 If the successful Bidder executed a Contract Performance Bond, the Bidder shall submit the original to the City within 10 days of receipt of the Notice of Award. If the successful Bidder provided a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit, it will be returned after a satisfactory Contract Performance Bond has been furnished and the Contract has been executed.
