Scope of Work 1. Replace and rewire all vehicular signal heads. Signal head configurations shall match existing field conditions and shall be installed at the same location along the mast arm. 2. Replace and rewire all pedestrian signal heads. Pedestrian signal heads shall be installed at the same location, side mounted to the support pole. 3. Rewire all vehicular signal heads, pedestrian signal heads, pushbuttons and detector loops. 4. Remove and dispose of all vehicular and pedestrian signal heads, and old cable. 5. The Contractor shall take care not to damage the existing pedestrian push buttons, as they are to remain in place. 6. All existing mast arm mounted signage shall remain in place, installed at the current locations. Description This project consists of routine traffic signal maintenance activities at the following four intersections in the City of Hilliard: 1. Trueman Boulevard/Trueman Court 2. Cemetery Road/Fishinger Boulevard/Trueman Boulevard 3. Cemetery Road/Brown Park Drive 4. Cemetery Road/Berry Leaf Lane/Westbrook Drive The above locations are part of the base bid. The Engineer's estimate for the base bid is $171,500. No bid will be accepted if it exceeds the Engineer's estimate by more than ten percent (10%). There is one alternate bid, which includes replacement of vehicle heads (no wiring) at the following two intersections in the City of Hilliard: 1. Cemetery Road/Lyman Drive 2. Cemetery Road/Britton Parkway The Engineer's estimate for the alternate bid is $29,000. The detailed scope of work, including MOT requirements for each location, is provided in the specifications in the attachment list below.
