SCOPE OF WORK SKYWAY STATION SAFETY RAILING REPLACEMENT The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (the 'Authority' or 'JTA') is seeking competitive proposals from qualified firms hereinafter referred to as (Contractor') to provide cost per service for the provision of replacement of ornamental safety rails at JTA Skyway Stations. The existing railings will be replaced, disposed, with installation of new railing systems to include elevated decks and stairwells on a as needed basis throughout the JTA Skyway Stations. The awarded Contactor's services must be inclusive of all required labor, tools, equipment, materials, disposal services, demolition services, and services required covering all associated incidental work for a complete turnkey project. All costs must be included in the proposer's proposed cost. All materials shall adequately be disposed of and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations. The JTA intends to complete this project in multiple phases based on funding availability. All phases shall comply with the requirements as stated in this scope of work and awarded contract. The awarded Contractor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of all existing railing and related materials off site. Davis-Bacon Wage Rates for Federal-Aid Projects as indicated in the solicitation are applicable and must be considered in your Price Proposal. This project will begin with services being requested for the JTA Rosa Parks Skyway Station which is referred to as Phase I. The JTA projects the replacement of a minimum of one (1) and does not guarantee any maximum volume of service to be provided during the contract period. Cost for additional phases shall be detailed in Proposal Price Form as requested. All other Phases will be requested by the JTA Project Manager or designee based on available budget. The Project Manager or designee shall request a quote for all other Phases respectively and complete a Contract Amendment mutually agreed upon by both parties. The list provided below titled "Skyway Stations and Locations" is a list of the current JTA Skyway Stations but is not meant to be all inclusive of work being performed. The JTA reserves the right to add additional locations as required.
