Renovation of an educational facility in Riverside, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Scope of Work. The Contractor shall, at its own cost and expense, furnish all construction and other services (including, but not limited to, all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, administration, supervision, and incidental and customary work) necessary and appropriate to fully and adequately complete the Project in strict accordance with the Contract Documents ("Work"). Should any detail or dimension be inadvertently omitted from the Plans and Specifications, it shall be the Contractor's responsibility to request from the Architect the required details or information and to perform the Work in conformance therewith so that, upon completion of the Work, it will be acceptable and ready for use by the District. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work for the inspection was as follows: 1. Perform inspection of the buildings per contract listing, in order to identify and group the locations and paint variations for XRF Testing, includes Performing Art Center; Athletic Office; Buildings 200, 300, 500, 600, 700, 800, and 900; Library (100); Administration; MPR; Guidance Office; Building 1000; Gymnasium; Culinary Arts; Food Services; and Student Store. 2. Perform XRF testing on the exterior building components for suspect Lead-Based Paint (LBP). Each painted component type is tested for the presence of LBP for compliance with the EPA's Lead Renovations, Repair and Painting (RRP) rules. This testing is performed by using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) type Lead Spectrum Analyzer. 3. Providing written report. The Work consists of any and all labor, materials, goods, supplies, equipment, tools, utilities, temporary facilities, transportation, delivery services, and other services and things of any nature whatsoever as are expressly and impliedly necessary to fully and satisfactorily complete the Project: (i) in strict accordance with the Contract Documents; and (ii) within the Contract Time and not later than the Required Completion Date specified in the Master Schedule.
