Renovation of a mixed-use development in San Leandro, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Multisite Common Area Floor Replacement: Madison ES, Halkin ES, Bancroft MS, John Muir MS The Project consists of: Provide all labor, equipment, materials, and related services to furnish the following work: - Demo existing flooring and rubber floor base (wood floor base re- mains) at all corridors in specified areas of Madison Elementary School, Halkin Elementary School, Bancroft Middle School, John Muir Middle School, install new District standard Interface LVT flooring and Bruke Thunder 727 rubber floor base at each school. - Protect surrounding area including but not limited to artwork, air register, fire alarm devices, fire sprinklers during the demolition. - Repair and touch up for any damage done to the building during the construction. - Conduct moisture test on concrete subfloor. - Contractor to review AHERA report for existing material demoli- tion. - Off haul all waste. - Clean area of work and new LVT floors. - Bid to include sealing concrete subfloor. - Contractor to provide temporary facilities, restroom and hand- wash stations. Site facilities are off-limits. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the Instructions to Bidders. 5. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: A, B or C-15 The Bidder's license(s) must be active and in good standing at the time of the bid opening and must remain so throughout the term of the Contract. As security for its Bid, each Bidder shall provide with its Bid form a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form pro- vided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the San Leandro Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project. 8. The successful Bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the Contract, in accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code 22300
