A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work to be done consists of construction of a new library facility and doing all appurtenant work in place and ready for use in accordance with the plans and specifications. A Class B General Building Contractors License is required for this work. The Engineer has estimated that the value of work is between $5M and $7M. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. A Bid Deposit equal to at least 10% of the total amount of the bid shall be placed in the sealed proposal. The Bid Deposit shall be in one of the following forms: cash, cashiers check Payment and performance guarantee bonds as set forth in Section 2-4 of the Special Provisions will be required from the successful bidder. Question Deadline 03/22/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Questions regarding the plans and specifications may be submitted in writing to the project engineer until 5:00 p.m. five (5) days before, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, bids must be received by the City. The City will not respond to oral questions outside of the pre-bid conference. The response, if any, will be by written addendum only.
