Renovation of a mixed-use development in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Seek bids from responsive and responsible contractor to replace an existing roof mounted Air Handling Unit (AHU) at the GTI Annex Building according to the attached Project Manual, specifications, and drawings. Questions Due Date: May 23rd 2025, 2:00 PM MDT All questionsrelated to the project must be submitted to Bonfire bid service used by Granite School Distric Expenditures over $50,000.00 require GSD Board approval. It is anticipated, award recommendation will be presented at the May 6th board meeting. Final award will be issued after board approval is given. The AHU will provide cooling and ventilation to an existing portion of the Annex building. The supply air will be a variable air volume system that feeds existing VAV boxes for the spaces served. The new AHU is to be a fully integrated and stand-alone system that is internally controlled with programming from the Manufacturer. The new AHU will communicate and tie into the building's existing BAS system. It's operation is to be enabled/disabled through BAS system that will optimize the schedule based upon occupancy Pre-Bid Meeting - Mandatory GTI Annex Building, 2589 South Main Street, South Salt Lake See Project Manual document. May 22nd 2025, 10:00 AM MDT - May 22nd 2025, 12:00 PM MDT Yes The anticipated start date of construction is July 01, 2025. b. The date of Substantial Completion is October 31, 2025. Liquidated Damages - Granite School District will assess $100, per calendar day, as liquidated damages for the late completion of the project.
