The Housing Authority of Salt Lake City ("HASLC") is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors to remove approximately 16,500 square feet of existing landscaping, including lawn, and to replace it with xeriscape water wise landscaping and hardscape at its Romney Plaza Apartments. The subject property is located at 475 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, 84111. The new landscaping will include a mix of stone, bark, and various plants with a five-zone drip system. Bids must include all labor, tools, and materials needed to complete the work to include the following: 1. Demolition and disposal of all existing landscaping, fill, and waste materials. 2. Delivery and installation of new xeriscape landscaping to meet the specifications given below: a. Site clearing and grubbing (including tree removal) x 15,000 sq/ft. b. Irrigation: Retrofit existing sprinkler system with 5-zone drip system. c. Weed barrier throughout. d. Rock Mulch (includes plant pit topsoil, fabric, mulch) x 12,624 sq/ft. e. Landscape Boulders (place previously acquired) x 30. f. Live Small Plants: One-gallon grasses/perennials x 60. Live Small Plants must be a mix of any of the plants/species listed on g. Live Shrubs: Five-gallon shrubs x 40. h. Trees: 1.5 caliper deciduous trees x 15. i. Edging: Metal edging, up to three hundred feet (300'). j.
