This will be a multi-phased expansion project located within the hospital on level A & level 1, in the 529 building area. This will include extensive demolition of existing services located on both floors. There will be some excavation & infill that will take place in the front drive circle of the main hospital entrance. The selected architectural firm will provide the design services with proposed phasing plan. The selected firm will coordinate with the end users on equipment during the course of the design to facilitate a plan that can be phased while keeping the main emergency department operational during the construction of the project. The selected design team will need experience in equipment specific coordination of emergency department services. The attached scoping documents can be used as reference to the project programming.
