Site work for a water / sewer project in Owensboro, Kentucky. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of July 2, 2025, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** The work to be bid includes the construction of approximately 1760 L.F. of 6” waterline and approximately 245 L.F. of 4” waterline, including all appurtenances as shown on the contract drawing and plans. Sealed proposals for this Contract shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope as follows: "Sealed Proposal for Wimsatt Court Water Main and Fire Protection Upgrades” not to be opened until 10:00 AM (CT), Tuesday, May 6, 2025." Bids shall be accompanied by certified check or bid bond made payable to the Daviess County Water District, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the date bids are opened. The bidder, however, may withdraw their bid at any time prior to the time and date scheduled for opening of same or any authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. 3.1 The time period authorized by the OWNER for the proper execution of the WORK covered by this Contract, in full, is hereby within ONE HUNDRED (100) calendar days.
