Renovation of a multi-residential development in Kent, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade multi-residential development.

**As of June 26, 2025, the project was awarded to Staudt Electric, with an awarded amount of $304,999.39.** Mardi Gras Fire Alarm System Replacement Mardi Gras Apartments, located in the City of Kent was built in 1970's is a three-story apartment building with an occupancy open to seniors and disabled persons aged 62+. The building has 61 dwelling units. There are 60 one (1) bedroom one (1) bathroom units that all contain visual notification similar to accessible type units and one (2) bedroom (1) bath located on the first floor. The current fire alarm system's main control panel is Silent Knight located in the Reception Office off the main entry lobby on the lower floor. The Fire Alarm System for this project shall be a Potter Electric Brand System. KCHA standard will not allow any substitutions of this specified Fire Alarm equipment. Payable to: King County Housing Authority Process: Bid Bond or Certified Check will be returned to the Unsuccessful Bidders within Ten (10) Days after the Contract Award. Projects valued over one hundred fifty thousand ($150,000) dollars require a one hundred (100%) percent Performance and Payment Bond. Provide with your bid proposal, a written statement from the contractor's bonding agent of the contractor's ability and capacity for providing a one hundred (100%) percent Performance and Payment Bond for the project. The statement shall be made on the official letterhead of the bonding company and signed by an authorized agent of the bonding company. The King County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the written consent of KCHA. The King County Housing Authority also reserves the right to reject all bids, for any reason, prior to Contract Execution. The King County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the written consent of KCHA.
