Reference Number 0000291053 Question Acceptance Deadline 05/06/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Bid Intent Deadline 2025/05/06 02:00:00 PM EDT The scope of the Centre Block (CB) Rehabilitation Project includes a comprehensive rehabilitation of CB and its integrated Peace Tower, along with the completion of the Parliament Welcome Centre (PWC) started in 2019. The 1920 Centre Block building is six storeys above grade with mezzanines on the 3rd and 4th floors and a basement. The building measures approximately 144 metres by 75 metres. The building is essentially rectangular with exterior elevations that reflect its symmetrical, bi-axial plan. The interior gross area of all floors, including the mezzanines and basement, is approximately 50,500 square metres. The Peace Tower has a gross floor area of approximately 1,200 square metres. The Scope of Services of this prequalification package is for the design, supply, erection, maintenance, rental and dismantling of the Peace Tower Temporary Scaffolding for the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project. The scope will include the supply and maintenance of a temporary tarping system. It is anticipated that the scope will be split into a number of Subcontracts due to scheduling requirements, subcontractor capacity and the size of the project. This singular prequalification is for various packages including but not limited to the packages listed below: Exterior Temporary Scaffolding for the Peace Tower Masonry and Roofing Restoration. Additional Interior and/or Exterior/Temporary Scaffolding tenders which may be required/as needed for either CB or the PWC. Due to design and/or industry capacity limitations many of the above noted design packages may be split into multiple smaller packages. The Scopes of Work will be further detailed in the tenders to Bidders who successfully prequalify. The Work may be packaged as the CM and PSPC determine is best for the project.
