For the Village of Florida Kaye Drive Valve Installation Project in accordance with Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by Pitingaro & Doetsch Consulting Engineers P.C. The project consists of the following: 1. Coordination with the Village of Florida Mayor and/or his designatee. 2. Furnish and install 165 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) water main. 3. Furnish and install 8' water main fittings as shown on the Plans. 4. Furnish and install a valve vault and pressure reducing valve. 5. Furnish and install all thrust restraints. 6. Furnish and install valves as shown on the Plans. 7. Conduct all disinfection and testing. 8. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, utilities, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as specified in the Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the Bid, payable to the Village of Florida as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract. OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED The Village of Florida hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Owner. STATEMENT OF NON-COLLUSION Bidders are required to execute a non-collusion bidding certificate pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements relating to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, and Executive Order 11246. Bidders are also required to comply with the provisions of Sections 291-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York and all other applicable laws and regulations. The Village of Florida hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.
