Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Florida, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of furnishing all labor and materials required to design and install a modular concrete block retaining wall system approximately 240 linear feet long with an average height of four feet above grade. All bids shall be made on the form provided in the specifications, sealed and marked on the outside of the envelope as specified, and addressed appropriately. Bidders must carry Workers' Compensation and Public Liability Insurance at their own expense, agree to a non-collusion affirmation with their bid, and exclude sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. Bidders must familiarize themselves with existing conditions and proposed improvements prior to submitting a proposal. The Town Board reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, award to other than the low bidder, award to multiple bidders, accept the whole or part of a bid as modified by mutual consent, or readvertise for new bids at their sole discretion. Attention is called to requirements for prevailing wage rates under the contract.
