The County of Orange, OC Public Works, (hereinafter referred to as County) is requesting competitive bids from qualified vendors (hereinafter referred to as Bidder) for Monitoring and As-Needed Repairs of Alarm Systems. The awarded Contract, (hereinafter referred to as Contract) will be between the County and awarded Bidder, (hereinafter referred to as Contractor) in accordance with the model contract terms, conditions and scope of work. County of Orange has installed and will maintain the fire alarm systems in various County facilities. Each of these systems has been equipped with an auto dialer that is capable of forwarding signals for the fire alarms and trouble alarms in each of the facilities. The County of Orange has also installed intrusion alarms in various County facilities. Contractor shall provide all labor and equipment required to monitor the fire and intrusion alarm systems and notify County Project Manager or designee as necessary on a continuous basis, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. If any modification is needed to tie into the automatic auto dialer system, it will be the Contractor's responsibility.
