Demolition, site work, paving and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Gardner, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for asbestos abatement for a swimming pool; for the demolition of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

Greenwood Pool Demolition and Improvements Project - Phase I The project includes furnishing all labor, equipment and materials required to complete the Greenwood Pool Demolition and Improvements Project - Phase I. The project includes, but is not limited to, abatement and demolition of existing Greenwood pool building, removal and disposal of existing chain link fence, concrete walkway, abandonment of existing utilities, site grading, installation of electrical conduit, loam and seed, and other work, appurtenances, and incidental items as set forth in the contract documents. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Section 44A - 44J inclusive, as amended. In accordance with Section 44D of Chapter 149 of the General Laws of Massachusetts as amended, the prospective General Bidders must submit with their Bid, a certificate of eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), showing that the Bidder has been approved to bid on projects of the size and nature as advertised herein. Prospective General Bidders must also submit an updated statement summarizing their record for the period between the latest DCAMM certificate and the date of the Bid submittal. The DCAMM certificate of eligibility to be submitted by the General Bidder shall be for the category of work defined as "Demolition". Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified or cashier's check, payable to the City of Gardner, is required in a dollar amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. A performance bond and labor and materials bond for 100% of the total contract price, issued by a satisfactory surety company shall be required by the successful bidder. The City of Gardner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept proposals deemed to be in the best interest of the City, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. Combined MBE/WBE: 10.4 % of the Construction Contract Price. Combined MBE/WBE: 17.9 % of the Design Contract Price The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary to perform the Work required under the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents for the Greenwood Pool Demolition and Improvements Project - Phase I. Question Deadline 04/18/2025 Any questions during the bidding period as to the interpretation of the Invitation to Bid, form of proposal, form of Contract, plans, specifications or form of performance and payment bonds, must be received by the City not less than five (5) days prior to the date set for receipt of bids.
