The City of Hamilton is seeking Proposals from qualified and experienced firms for Plumbing Maintenance and Repair Services. The scope of Work includes the provision of plumbing Services on an as needed and when requested basis including emergency response at various City of Hamilton facilities. The Successful Proponent is expected to be available to respond twenty four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, 365 days per year, as determined by the nature of a given situation and/or emergency. This RFP stipulates a fixed Hourly Rate to be paid to the Successful Proponent for Master Plumbers and Journeymen. Fixed Unit Prices are set for Backflow Device Testing and Inspection as well as Cross Connection Surveys. This Contract will service City of Hamilton facilities ranging in type, including but not limited to: o Facilities Section which includes office towers, fire halls, lodges, arenas libraries, recreation centres and any City buildings located in thevarious Parks (approximately 500 facilities in total) o Hamilton Police Services (approximately 76 facilities in total) o Museums (approximately 25 facilities in total) o Parks (approximately 521 parks and 20 right of way drinking water fountains) o Cemeteries (approximately 69 cemeteries in total) o Hamilton Water (approximately 240 sites) - encompassing the Woodward Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Dundas Wastewater Treatment Plant, and approximately 160 Water and Wastewater outstations located throughout the Hamilton area. o Forestry and Horticulture - (approximately 171 water lines that require opening and closing) There is no proposal security, performance security or labour and material payment security required for this Request for Proposals Question Deadline: Wed Apr 30, 2025 12:00:00 PM (EDT) Duration in months: 60
