This requirement is for the complete furnishing, outfitting,and istallation of a novel Access Control System (ACS) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) for Building 235 at Naval Support Activity Annapolis in accordance with the attached Minimum Requirements. The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk VA 23511-3392, intends to award a Brand Name Firm-Fixed price contract in support of Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron Eight. This acquisition will be conducted using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services; and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All accesses shall have card readers, request to exit detectors, and magnetic strips. Doors 1, 2, 4, 5 shall be controlled additionally by ceiling mounted motion sensors. Control for doors 1, 3, 4, and 5 shall be located in Room 112, Communications Room. Control for door 2 shall be located in Room 108, Chiefs Mess. Source Material: MSRON-8 staff shall provide security escorts, when needed, for contractors installing the required systems. There is currently a two (2) post rack with back up UPS located in Room 112, Communications Room. The facility will be available to begin installation immediately following award. Work Included: Contractor shall provide all supervision, administrative support in system initialization, labor, tools, parts, supplies equipment, materials and transportation necessary to install the Access Control System and Intrusion Detection System at Building 235, NSA Annapolis.
