Demolition and site work for a residential development in Hitchcock, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Demolition at 6329 O'Brien Street for the demolition of a structure (s) (house, awning, storage, foundation) and clearing of the entire lot for property located at 6329 O'Brien, Hitchcock, Texas 77563 SCOPE OF WORK This project consists ofthe demolition ofall substandard structures, disposal services ofa substandard building(s), and the lot to be cleared within the city at the following location: Supervision, Equipment, and Material: The methods ofdemolition vary depending upon the type ofstructure to be demolished. The winning Contractor(s) shall determine the most efficient and effective means or methods current in the construction trade in the City ofHitchcock. The Contractor must receive approval from the appropriate City Department before beginning work. It is the City ofHitchcock's intent to have all structures that are declared dangerous, unsafe, or substandard which are in the City ofHitchcock demolished and cleared as soon as possible and at a reasonable cost. The City ofHitchcock is requesting and will receive bids from qualified vendors for the puipose ofdemolition ofdangerous, unsafe, or substandard structures, clear, and grade real property, including ditches, easements, the removal ofdemolition debris from such structures/real property, including lot mowing/clearing within the City ofHitchcock. It is necessary to receive bids from contractors to complete a demolition order that may not be followed through by the property owner as ordered by the City ofHitchcock Building Standards Commission on April 1, 2025. The date the demolition may commence is any time after May 2,2025, as agreed to by the City ofHitchcock. The project is expected to be completed within 7 days ofthe start date. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies tools, permits, fees, equipment, and supervision necessary fbr the demolition ofstructures and/or removal of demolition debris, as per the specifications outlined in this Contract. Contractor shall demolish and clearthe locations within the Contract Services Area when requested by the Community Development Director, or his designees (hereinafter "City"). Deadline for BIDS will be Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 10:00am The Contractor shall furnish all the following on this non-exclusive list: labor, equipment, supervision, materials and supplies, and transportation necessary for providing Demolition Services for the City ofHitchcock. All prospective contractors must affirmatively demonstrate their responsibility, including the responsibility oftheir proposed subcontractors.
