Demolition and site work for a residential development in Hitchcock, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
**As of July 1, 2025, the project was awarded to Nunn Excavation, with an awarded amount of $3,800.** The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies tools, permits, fees, equipment, and supervision necessary forthe demolition ofstructures and/or removal of demolition debris, as per the specifications outlined in this Contract. Contractor shall demolish and clear the locations within the Contract Services Area when requested by the Community Development Director, or his designees (hereinafter "City"). It is the City ofHitchcock's intent to have all structures that are declared dangerous, unsafe, or substandard, which are in the City ofHitchcock demolished and cleared as soon as possible and at a reasonable cost. Supervision, Equipment, and Material: The methods ofdemolition vary depending upon the type ofstructure to be demolished. The winning Contractor(s) shall determine the most efficient and effective means or methods current in the construction trade in the City of Hitchcock. The Contractor must receive approval from the appropriate City Department before beginning work. The Contractor shall furnish all the following on this non-exclusive list: labor, equipment, dumpsters, supervision, materials and supplies, and transportation necessary for providing Demolition Services for the City ofHitchcock. All prospective contractors must affirmatively demonstrate their responsibility, including the responsibility oftheir proposed subcontractors. Cost Range: $8,500 - $10,000 Demolition and Lot Maintenance *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
