The Town of Chesterfield is seeking to procure services from a professional mason for the construction of a stonewall along the rear perimeter of new sections added to the rear of the historic Ireland Street Cemetery located on Ireland Street in West Chesterfield. The town is soliciting bids from qualified stone mason firms with proven expertise in historic stonewall construction. The Owner is the Town of Chesterfield. All work must comply with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties with Guidelines for the Treatment of Cultural Landscapes. The Town of Chesterfield will evaluate all proposals submitted on a timely basis, and award a contract based on price and the contractor's abilities to best meet the requirements and conditions set forth in this ITB. The Town of Chesterfield retains the right to reject any and all proposals. Project bids must include all costs and expenses to complete the scope of work. Prevailing wage will apply to this project. Questions about the project must be sent to the Owner at least 5 days before bids are opened. Written clarification will be issued by addenda no less than 3 days before bids will be opened.
