Renovation of a municipal facility in Fenelton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic Bids for a new 40' x 60' x 14' pole building to be used for the storage of maintenance implements and tools. The project consists of constructing/framing the pole building, pouring a concrete floor slab, installing metal roofing, and siding panels, installing radiant insulation, overhead doors, man doors, windows, trench drain systems and other building appurtenances including installing the electrical service power distribution and lighting with controls. There are no connections of any other utilities to the new building in this project. In accordance with the Separation Act (P.L. 155, May 1, 1913), separate bids are required and shall be submitted for the following Construction Contracts: CONTRACT NO. 2 - ELECTRICAL When bidding, amount Bid should be in dollars and cents-----no fractions of a cent will be accepted. Questions concerning project specifications and requirements should be directed to Zachary Whitenight (PGC Engineering Division) by phone at 717-787-4250 Ext. 73628 or by email: zwhitenigh@pa.gov. Any questions concerning completion of the electronic Bid should be directed to the PGC Contracts and Procurement Division at 717-787-6594. An alternate Contact is Game Lands Maintenance Supervisor Mr. Robert Hall. To contact Mr. Hall, please call the SGL #095 crew building at 724-637-3120. The personnel that work in this building are frequently out in the field so please leave a message. A location map is included on the drawing. This area is not restricted, but bidders interested in viewing the site should contact Mr. Beale or Mr. Hall to get directions and to announce your arrival onto PGC property. Bidders shall be experienced and fully capable to perform the type and extent of Work required on this project. After Bids are opened, the PA Game Commission reserves the right to request the names and contact information from at least three (3) references for projects completed within the previous three (3) years that are similar in size and scope in order to verify experience and qualifications. Reference information shall include: Project Name, Description, and Final Cost; and Reference Name, Company, Address, and Phone No. These documents are all part of the electronic proposal. A bid guarantee or bond is not required. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive technical defects in Bids and to accept or reject any part of the Bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, and all Bidders will be advised of the Bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful Bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order.
