As of May 12, 2025, please be advised that the Coolbaugh Township Board of Supervisors rejected all bids at their meeting on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Project has been cancelled. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the Owner(s) in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. The successful bidder must furnish Performance, Payment Bonds and Insurance per Contract and meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of General Conditions. This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids. No bid will be accepted if obtained from sources other than the issuing office noted above Question Deadline 04/21/2025 at 5:00 p.m OPE OF WORK A. The scope of work for this project includes the construction of new steps and handrail located at the Coolbaugh Township Municipal Building (5520 Municipal Drive, Tobyhanna, PA 18466) in Coolbaugh Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. B. The proposed work will include the demolition and removal of the existing concrete steps, existing handrails, existing concrete sidewalk and existing concrete footer/retaining wall areas located at the main entrance to the building. The project will also include the construction of new footer/retaining walls, new plain cement concrete steps, new metal railings and handrails, plain cement concrete sidewalk and the final restoration of the site. The site work Contractor will also be responsible for coordinating access with the Municipal Staff. All work is anticipated to commence after awarding of the bid in May 2025. All work shall be completed by September 30, 2025. C. The work to be performed shall include all services, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete all the required site work. All bid quantities were computed from the final construction plans. The Contractor shall not assume any method of computing quantities not specifically shown on the plans. If the Contractor has any questions as to the method of computing any quantities, they shall be presented to the Professional in writing prior to submitting a bid. D.
