Repair and refurbishment services are required for the Bauer Unicus III four-bank all-in-one breathing air system to enhance its functionality, reliability, and safety. The contractor shall perform a full operational inspection, identify and replace worn or malfunctioning components, and upgrade the system from a 4500 psi to a 5500 psi fill capacity. This includes adjusting pressure settings, replacing incompatible high-pressure hoses and valves, and ensuring all components meet CGA Pamphlet G-7 and ANSI/CGA G-7.1 standards. Additionally, the contractor must supply and install a Bauer CFS5.5-3M three-position containment fill station or a functionally equivalent model, designed for safe high-pressure SCBA cylinder refilling. The fill station must include specific safety and ergonomic features such as a front-loading enclosure, venting for rupture protection, tilt-out door assembly, polymer cylinder holders, and an automatic door-activated interlock system. Deliverables include the fully refurbished breathing air system, installed fill station, operator manual, maintenance guide, warranty documentation, and performance and safety testing records. All work must comply with manufacturer specifications and NFPA standards, and only OEM or approved equivalent components may be used. Freight, labor, processing charges, and travel must be included in the total contract cost. Contractor personnel must adhere to all applicable security and safety regulations, including coordination with the Government security office for suitability investigations. Non-Government-owned computing devices may not be connected to Government networks without proper authorization. Compliance with antiterrorism and operations security requirements is mandatory, including background checks and identity verification.
