Base Bid and Additional Bid Items 965 Square Yards of Profile Milling, 2"average depth 1,094 Tons of Superpave 9.5 mm, Scratch/Leveling Course, placed 60 LB/SY 3,366 Tons of Superpave 9.5 mm,Wearing Course, placed 180 LB/SY 956 Tons of 2A Crushed Aggregate Subbase, placed as Shoulder Back-up 16,020 Lineal Feet of Double Yellow Center Lines with Glass Beads 6,144 Lineal Feet of Single White Edge Lines with Glass Beads. All materials and workmanship must meet the requirements and standards of PennDOT Publication 408 %3F Specifications, and bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified for Work Class "F" Bituminous Paving. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Coolbaugh Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. The Coolbaugh Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages apply to this contract. All work must be completed by September30, 2025; liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $975 per day for each day beyond this date that the work remains incomplete.
