Renovation of a multi-residential development in Pomona, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 9,312-square-foot multi-residential development.

License Requirements Class B The Work shall be commenced on the date stated in the City's Full Notice to Proceed. All work to be done under this contract shall be completed within 90 consecutive working days for all the base bid work and 30 consecutive working days for all the additive alternate work (if awarded), and if only a portion of the additive alternate work is awarded the allowed additive alternate working days will be prorated based on the dollar amount) beginning on the date stipulated in the written "Notice to Proceed" issued by the City Engineer. All base bid work shall be completed shall be completed prior to additive alternate work. The project involves the substantial rehabilitation of a 12-Unit 9,312 square feet apartment building located at 252 E 4th Street, Pomona, CA 91766. The City-owned property will be undergoing major rehabilitation to create affordable housing. The 12 vacant units will require substantial rehabilitation including building exterior improvements. The scope of work will include upgrades or replacement to create fully functional, habitable units of electrical, plumbing, lighting, bathroom, kitchens, heating and air, interior finishes including new doors, flooring, ceiling, and paint, converting an existing bedroom into a laundry room. Exterior improvements may include paint, landscaping, ADA access improvements, installation of fencing, roof repair trash enclosures, and structural and/or seismic upgrades and removal or remediation of hazardous materials. The Scope of Work is outlined in the approved Plans and Specifications (Attachment 1). A City of Pomona Business License is required, as well as, valid general liability and vehicle insurance, when (and if) delivering within City limits. Bid Validity: Bids shall be valid for minimum of 180 days after the published Bid due date. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS AND REJECTION OF BIDS This solicitation does not commit the City to award a contract. The City reserves the right at its sole discretion to: 1. Reject responses received after the due date and time specified. The City will not return late submittals. Late submittals will be destroyed by the City 30 days after opening. 2. Cancel the entire solicitation at any time time, and re-advertise when determined to be in the City's best interest. 3. Accept or reject any and all submittals, waive any minor errors, informalities, and procedures without penalty to the extent permitted by law. 4. Be the final judge as to which response is the most qualified. 5. Consider any of the following as non-responsive and subject to rejection for this solicitation: a. Responses from Respondent that are not registered as a prospective bidder in PlanetBids for the City of Pomona for this specific solicitation; b. Responses containing items not specified; c.
