Bids are requested for ODOT Item 422 Single Chip & Seal and repairs with stipulated Traffic Control on 2.88 miles of roads in York Township, Medina County, Ohio. Bids also include planing, transverse repairs and 1.5" of ODOT Item 441 Surface Course on 0.07 miles of T.H. 94 Wolff Road. The Engineer's Estimate for the base bid is $ 208,272.00. No contract shall be awarded at a price more than ten percent in excess of the Engineer's estimate. The improvement project shall have a substantial completion date of September 26th, 2025 and a final completion date of October 17th, 2025. Each bidder shall be required to file a bid guaranty with the bid in the form of either: (1) a Bid/ Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid; or (2) a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit shall equal to 10% of the amount bid, conditioned that the bidder shall, if his bid is accepted, execute a contract in conformity with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material. A Letter of Credit shall be revocable only at the option of the Township. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements detailed in the Bid Documents shall be required. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contract compliance with the Equal Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
