Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Monroe, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Removal of structures & obstructions, ditch cleaning, excavation & embankment, asphalt pavement patching, concrete sidewalks, drainage structures, & water main relocation. Improvements to subsurface drainage structures along Jersey Street, Swiss Street, Otis Street, Willis Street, Woodland Street, Cedar Street, Elizabeth Street, and Wellerman Road located in West Monroe, Louisiana including bedding material, cross drains, side drains, and pavement patching. Any bids received after closing time will be returned to the bidder unopened. In accordance with R.S. 38:2212(D), deposits on the first set of documents furnished to bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon return of the documents; deposits on any additional sets will be refunded less the actual costs of reproduction. Refunds will be made upon return of the documents in good condition within ten days after receipt of bids. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or acceptable Bid Bond payable to the City of West Monroe in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the Bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. Each bid shall be signed by an officer or member of the bidding vendor who is authorized to legally bind the bidder to the terms of this public bid. Each bid shall also be accompanied by a Corporate Resolution or written evidence of the authority of the person signing the bid for the public work as prescribed by LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the full amount of the Contract in accordance with Article 5 of the General Conditions. In addition, the successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the Contract in accordance with Article 5 of the General Conditions. The successful bidder must submit executed copies of the Non-Collusion Declaration, Attestation Clause, E-Verify Affidavit, and Firearm Certification within ten (10) days of the bid opening. These items may be submitted with the bid The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause as provided for in LA R.S. 38:2214 (B). Estimated Cost: $2,135,000. Question Deadline 05/30/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
