This project involves the installation of sanitary sewer mains, reconnecting service mains, and replacing/repairing sanitary sewer manholes along Crosley Street from N. 7th Street to Trenton Street. CONTRACT TIME: 120 Calendar Days LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: $200 (Two hundred) per Calendar Day ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $445,000 Doc.Note- Document available online. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined online or at the office of S.E. Huey Co., 1111 N. 19 th Street, Monroe, LA 71201. Contract documents may be viewed and downloaded at no cost; free registration is required. A fee will be charged for printing and shipping contract documents. See website for details. The scope of this section includes the furnishing of labor, materials, services, equipment, and other necessary items required for the rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer main by "pipe bursting," which splits the existing pipe, and concurrently installs a new polyethylene pipe. This shall include, but not be limited to, insertion of new sanitary sewer piping, reconnection of services, tie-ins at existing manholes and television inspection of the polyethylene pipe for a complete installation. Only hydraulically and pneumatically operated equipment will be allowed for this replacement. The size hammer to be used shall be the minimum diameter necessary to facilitate the process. Oversized hammers shall not be allowed. Where street repairs are required, the restoration of the pavement will be performed under other items of work.
