Renovation of a mixed-use development in Barre, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of June 09, 2025, the project was awarded to Apex Mechanical, with an awarded amount of 307,200.08.** QRMHS HVAC Projects - Installation of two roof-monted down blast exhaust fans. Remove four vertical unit ventilators in auditorium and replace with five multi-position vertical air handlers. JCI controllers required. Both projects must be bid to be responsive to IFB. Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 149, 44f(3) filed sub-bid categories of Electrical and HVAC constitute the predominant work. Contract shall not be segregated into separate general contractor and sub-bid contracts. Bidder shall be DCAMM certified in both Electric & HVAC. Provide & install: 2 roof-mounted downblast exhaust fans to provide ventilation; and 5 cold climate split air source heat pumps with hot water back up heating coils. Demo & dispose of current system.
