Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a government-provided playground structure and associated components at Barre Falls Dam Recreation Area in Barre, Massachusetts. The contractor shall excavate and level a 41' x 32' area, removing at least 6 inches of existing material and disposing of non-sand/soil offsite. Installation includes playground equipment, black safety border, ADA-compliant ramp, weed-blocking landscape fabric, and 12 inches of engineered wood fiber safety surfacing. All work must comply with manufacturer specifications, applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers safety standards (EM 385-1-1). The contractor must submit preconstruction documents including an Accident Prevention Plan (ENG Form 6293), Activity Hazard Analysis, Site Safety and Health Officer Designation Letter (ENG Form 6282), licenses, and product documentation. A site-specific Safety and Health Officer (Level 3 SSHO) must be present during work, and daily safety meetings are required. The contractor is responsible for site cleanup, environmental protection, and safeguarding government-furnished equipment. Work must be completed within 90 calendar days from contract award, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, excluding weekends and government holidays.
