Site work for a water / sewer project in East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes: replacement of approximately 647LF of sanitary sewer main with SDR 26 pipe, approximately 35 street laterals with SDR 26 pipe, rehabilitation of 5 manholes IAW PennDOT RC details; development and submittal of layout of sewer main such that 4' cover and adequate slope for gravity conveyance of sewage are provided. Contractors are responsible for performing an on-site inspection of the project area conditions prior to submitting a bid. Bids must be purchased from the Borough for a bid to be considered. The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any bid and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder(s) whose services are judged to best meet the interest of the Borough. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities during evaluation of the bids. A certified check or bid bond shall be included with the bid for 10% of the total bid amount. Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be required as work is identified.
