The purpose of this project is to construct new P-501 Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) hardstands at the terminal apron. This PCC will be reinforced and include a reliever slab around its perimeter. Other construction itemsinclude the demolition and removal of the existing asphalt pavement and underlying base course materials, unclassified excavation, asphalt pavement, new pavement markings, and subsequent PCC Joints. The work to be completed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, and incidentals necessary to complete all work in accordance with the provisions of the Contract; the Contract Plans, the Contract Specifications, Contract Addenda, environmental permit conditions and as may be directed by the Engineer. All materials to construct and to be installed on this project shall be new and are subject to the "Buy American Clause".
