Renovation of a water / sewer project in Stuart, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work includes professional installation services for replacing and retrofitting 5/8-inch to 2-inch manual-read water meters with County-supplied AMR/AMI-equipped meters and associated components, as directed by the County. Approximately 2,000 meters will be replaced and retrofitted annually, or as funding permits. The maximum total value of this contract shall not exceed $4,000,000.00 over the life of the contract (to all awarded vendors combined). The Term of the Contract shall be for a period of three (3) years provided both parties are in agreement and there are no changes to the terms and conditions. The County shall reserve the right to terminate the Contract in accordance with the provisions under the Terms & Conditions herein. The contract may be renewed for two (2) additional 1-year terms, at the County’s sole discretion, for a total maximum term of five (5) years. The awardee agrees to this condition by signing their bid.
