Reference Number 0000291180 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/04/25 12:00:00 AM EDT The Facility Operations Services of the City of Ottawa is seeking offers from qualified firms to provide all labour, equipment, and materials for janitorial services at three City locations: City of Ottawa Traffic Operations located at 175 Loretta Avenue North Ottawa West Community Support located at 1137 Wellington Street West Bloomfield Works Yard located at 320 Bloomfield Avenue The period of contract shall commence on the Date of Authorization and shall end on 31 May 2026. The City may, at its discretion, extend the period of contract for three (3) additional one (1) year terms subject to satisfactory performance by the Contractor and provided the contract pricing, terms and conditions for the extended period are acceptable to the City and the Contractor. A performance security will be required from the successful bidder prior to the execution of a contract or the issuance of an Award Letter by the Contracting Authority. Such performance security may, at the discretion of the City, be either in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Tender Price, in the form of cash, a cheque certified by the bank upon which it is drawn, a money order, an irrevocable bank letter of credit with an auto renewal clause (draft form provided by the City of Ottawa), OR a Renewable Performance Bond for a Multi-Year Contract with an Emergency Remedial Measures Rider in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Total Tender Price from a surety company authorized by law to carry out business in the Province of Ontario. The performance security will be retained until completion of the contract to the satisfaction of the City. The performance security may be reduced at various stages of the project, at the discretion of the City. The City may accept any bid, whether it is the lowest or not, or may reject any or all bids.
