The Project includes the construction of an all-weather track, including but not limited to site preparation, grading, demolition, concrete drainage improvements, asphalt paving, site work, and landscaping. Bidders are encouraged to review the specific scope of the Project using the Division of the State Architect ("DSA") Application Number 02-123230, which provides details on the project requirements and approved plans Each bid must conform and be responsive to this notice and all other documents comprising the contract documents. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the receipt of bids. The successful bidder shall file a payment bond issued by an admitted Surety authorized to conduct business in the State of California approved by the District. A performance bond will also be required. This Project is a public works project and is subject to the payment of prevailing wages. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. If awarded the Contract, at all times during performance of the work, the Bidder and all Subcontractors of any tier shall be DIR Registered Contractors and continue to comply with all DIR requirements. This Contract is not subject to prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. Disabled Veteran Contractors are encouraged to submit bids. This bid is subject to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following classifications: General - B.
