Site work and new construction of a manufacturing facility in Rock Creek, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,160-square-foot, one-story above grade manufacturing facility; and for site work for a manufacturing facility.
Boundary Community Ventures Assn (BCVA) invites proposals from experienced and qualified companies for the design-build of a steel frame building for a new food processing facility in Rock Creek, B.C. The construction will be through to completion of the whole building envelope but will not include equipment installation or completion of interior construction. The facility will be a single-story, steel frame, slab-on-grade construction of 4,160 sq ft (80’ x 52’), and divided into the following main areas: 1. Meat processing area rented to a long-term tenant (butcher only, no slaughter) with an adjoining approximately 700 sqft carcass hanging cooler 2. Shared use, value-added food processing area rented by the day or week to commercial food producers 3. Garage for 3 reefer trailers, walk-in freezer(s) and future storage 4.
