Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dieppe, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The main purpose of the work consists of the installation of a new multi-purpose asphalt trail parallel to Melanson Road from Bourque Road to near the AJL Arena, as shown on the Project Drawings and specified in the Specifications. In general, the work includes the installation of new curb and gutter mainly along the North side of Melanson Road from Centrale Street to Bourque Road, installation of new storm pipes and structures, installation of new sanitary and water services, and street widening of a section of Melanson Road. Additionally, the scope includes removal of the RA-5 crosswalk and installation of new RRFB signs with detectable warning plates, the relocation of an electrical meter, reinstatement of existing surface features affected by the works including driveways, landscaping, and new line markings.
