Renovation of a mixed-use development in N Richland Hills, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and fitness / recreation center.

As of June 12, 2025 The City Council has decided not to move forward on this project, no plan to rebid The City of Richland Hills is requesting Proposals with the intent of awarding a contract for the installation of a Rooftop Mechanical Screening System at the Police Station. RFP Clarifications: All questions related to requirements or processes of this RFP should be submitted in writing to Alicia Johnson, Senior Administrative Assistant at ajohnson@richlandhills.com. ii. Scope of Service Questions: All questions related to the scope of services should be submitted in writing to Alicia Johnson, Senior Administrative Assistant at ajohnson@richlandhills.com. iii. Replies: Responses to inquiries which directly affect an interpretation or effect a change to this RFP will be issued in writing by addendum posted to the City of Richland Hills website Provide manufacturing, delivery, and installation of a Rooftop Mechanical Screening System at the Police Station. Screening System should be consistent with the design of the screening at The Link Event and Recreation Center located at 6750 Baker Boulevard. Mechanical equipment screens, also known as vision screens or louvered equipment screens are roofmounted panels that create a visual barrier and conceal mechanical equipment from sight. The primary purpose of these screens is to improve architectural aesthetics without compromising the function of the mechanical equipment that it conceals. For purposes of this proposal, the screening installation will conceal multiple HVAC units and other rooftop equipment. i. Eight feet (8') tall ii. North facing elevation iii. Approximately two hundred and twenty-three linear feet (223 LF) of perimeter iv. Open to a change of color at parapet B. The contract shall include all labor and materials, tools and equipment, and services required for proper performance of the work as specified hereinafter and as may be required for proper completion of the work in accordance with the highest standards of the trades involved.
