This Project Consits of full reconstruction of the following streets: 1. Joanne Court from Matthews Drive to Cul-de-sac (300') 2. Jameson Street from Gerome Street to Faye Drive (700') 3. Mary Boaz Street from Jameson Street to Lavon Drive (1140') 4. Brooks Avenue from Rufe Snow Drive to Holder Street (820') 5. Oxley Drive from Evergreen Road to Booth Calloway Road (1250') The deadline to ask questions is 3/03/2025 5:00 PM CST The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $4,239,700. In addition to the paving reconstruction, this project consists of complete reconstruction of water mains and services within the limits of the pavement replacement for Joanne Court, Brooks Avenue, and Oxley Drive. This project also consists of complete reconstruction of Sanitary Sewer mains and services along Jameson Street, as well as crossings on Mary Boaz Street and Oxley Drive. In addition to the paving and utility reconstruction, new storm drain will be installed within the limits of pavement replacement for Joanne Ct. Proposal Guaranty consisting of either a cashier's check or a Bid Bond on the form included or similar form of Surety Company (FACSIMILES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED RESPONSIVE) made payable to the CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, and in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal (including additive alternate), must accompany each bid as a guaranty that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will execute the Contract and furnish the required Bonds within the time provided in the "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS". Minimum rates of pay to all laborers and mechanics on the project must not be less than as provided in the Wage Rate Schedule and wage provisions must particularly comply with all other applicable wage laws of the State of Texas. The Owner reserves the right to award the Contract at any time within sixty (60) days after date of receiving bids, or to reject any or all bids and waive any or all informalities.
